Myndstep™ is a functional electrical stimulator that is used in the treatment of drop foot as a result of an upper motor neuron (neurological) injury. This could include: stroke, multiple sclerosis, spinal cord injury, acquired brain injury, and cerebral palsy.
This system stimulates the affected leg to promote ankle dorsiflexion (lifting of the foot) during gait. This device also connects to an app on your phone! You can work in both Train Mode (for strengthening/motor re-education) or in Walk Mode (to help lift your foot while you are walking or during gait training).
