Pathways would like to welcome our new Physiotherapist, Rikki!

Rikki completed her Masters of Physical Therapy at Western University in 2022. Before that she completed her Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Waterloo, where she pursued many volunteer experiences in the community with both children and adults which lead to her decision of pursuing physiotherapy as a career. Rikki had a variety of experience throughout her clinical placements and developed a strong interest in client-centred care. She believes strongly in empowering clients by working with them to set goal setting and providing them with the right tools and knowledge to meet these goals.

Rikki has a special interest in providing care to children who have neurological or musculoskeletal impairments. She is also passionate about providing care to adults with a variety of injuries so they can return to the activities they love. Rikki believes in the importance of evidence-based practice and is continuously searching for ways to expand her knowledge and clinical skills. She is eager to further her education and experience in neurological care.

Rikki is excited to join the Pathways Therapy team part time! In her spare time, Rikki enjoys trying new recipes, hiking, and spending time with her friends and family.
