Delaney graduated from the University of Toronto’s Occupational Therapy program in 1994. Working with children has always been her passion, and she has worked in a variety of pediatric settings, including rehabilitation centres, client homes and schools, in Windsor, the Niagara Region, and Kitchener Waterloo. She has been with Pathways Therapy since 2019.
During her paediatric career, Delaney has gained experience working with children with a variety of physical and mental health challenges. She believes in a family-centred collaborative approach to therapy, involving children and their parents in establishing meaningful goals. She reflects empathy, positivity and flexibility in her interactions with families. Delaney is passionate about continuing education, and has taken many courses in areas such as DIR Floortime, emotional regulation, ADHD, ASD, executive function, sensory processing, anxiety, handwriting, and trauma-informed care.
